The venerable Yellowstone is an Oboz classic. Built on the versatile and burly Sawtooth outsole and packaged with the BFIT Deluxe Insole, the all-leather, waterproof Yellowstone II is happiest exploring as far from the trailhead as you can take it. Bfit Deluxe Insole - A supremmely supportive insole, engineered specifically for Oboz shoes. The Bfit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches, protects high-impact zones, and cost nothing extra. Molded Heel Counter - Snug heel hold that's built to last. Oboz mold this heel counter, making it extra durable against collapse. BDry Membrane - Keep dry when the trail isn't. Oboz proprietary BDry membrane blocks water from wet trails while wicking sweat away.

Oboz Footwear is owned and operated by a small group of passionate industry veterans and life-long outdoor enthusiasts.  They define themselves by where they live and recreate. Their name comes from "outside Bozeman." Their home base, Bozeman, Montana sits on the northern edge of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem--18 million acres of some of the wildest land in North America. It is here, in the Northern Rocky Mountains, from the Wind River and Teton Ranges to the Bridgers and Spanish Peaks, with incredibly varied geologic features, and abundant wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, that Oboz is found. They've adopted the phrase "True to the Trail" as their guiding principle. As a new company, they're faced with direction-changing decisions every day. Filtering all of their decisions through the "True to the Trail" test helps them stay consistent with the vision that led them to create Oboz Footwear.
